Sometimes it’s difficult to make friends as adults. You’re more cautious and you really do not know why someone comes into your life. Thankfully, I have met friends in my adult years who have added significant value to me and my family. Regina is one of those persons. I met Regina at St Petersburg College when I was transitioning to a new career as an educator. My daughter was recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and I was seeking knowledge on how to support her. Regina is our Resident expert on assistive technology support. She explained to me that the world did not have to be out of reach for our daughter – we rather there were ways which we could support her through technology. I will never forget the kindness she showed me and her care and educating me and so many of my students. Regina has served the college nearly 30 years. It was lovely running into an old friend!
