Mothers do so much. We say this often, but we do not really delve into the depth of their sacrifice. Over the past six months I've had the opportunity to meet many women who have taken their responsibility to care for a vulnerable human being, seriously and sometimes at the expense of themselves. These women like me have children with autism spectrum disorder, and although they were not given a blueprint of how to care for someone who is special, they are doing their best to figure it out. Never underestimate the power of love. I love these women!
