We are the new phase of life with our daughter, and I’m trying to support her entry into the workforce. It is certainly not as easy as we thought it would be. First, you have to have patience, second you have to have a willingness to train and finally you have to find the right fit. Often we place persons with disabilities in service occupations, but the truth is that is not always the best place, particularly for persons with invisible disabilities.

My husband is a dentist and we thought we would try our luck with his profession. Well- it is going just so-so. BUT- the point is to explore a variety of occupations – like we would do with anyone to find joy and meaning in how you contribute to society.
