Our daughter is determined to forge her own destiny. It is beautiful and somewhat difficult in many ways.

  • Just like her peers she wants independence
  • Just like her peers she does not want to live or be ruled by parents
  • Just like her peers she wants the opportunity to rise and fall

This weekend she shared with her godparents those dreams and desires and they gave her the space to just BE.

We often forget that persons on the spectrum are just that- PERSONS!
